More anouncements of the important variety, probably one of the most important in the history of this site, and unfortunately no naked girlies.!!!!!!!!
We have just bought a NEW domain for UK Shaved yesterday and one of the following 3 options will be happening over the coming weeks.
1. We shut down UK Shaved and transfer everything over to this NEW domain which is hosted on a brand NEW server and gradually phase out the UK Shaved site.
OR
2. We keep UK Shaved but move all the masses of global material thats burying the few quality UK sites we have on here at UK Shaved and move them over to the NEW site. That means we would be left with sites like Simonscans, All Ruth, UK Soccer Babes, Suburban Amateurs, Rebekah Dee, Lolly Badcock, UK Glamour Starlets and the UK Adult Site directory. etc etc. This would mean UK Shaved would truly live up to its name but would be a smaller site on the look out for purely British, UK, Brit material ONLY which we think would make it tie up with its name better. The NEW site could then go into US/Euro gobbling mode like we did last year swallowing every decent site up thats out there and she will be a SUPERTANKER of a site.
3. Think sod it………… leave everything as it is…….. and just carry on as normal!
Option 3 does look very attractive as we are super busy here, but we are leaning strongly towards option 2 because we think UK Shaved has got has far as it is going to go in its present guise, and unfortunatly we want to mingle with the big boys and the current facilities on offer with our original hoster are not up to the mark for our future plans, which means there will be major upheaval in the coming weeks but all changes will be mentioned here on this blog. With Option 2 all the hard work that has gone into this site will still be there in UK form and we think this will be a cracking but smaller site which means we can showcase these sites in a bigger way.
FAQ’s which we are anticipating amidst the flurry of panic and pandemonium here’s the answers.
UK Shaved Extra is it staying? Oh YES!
The mainUK Shaved blog at Blogger is it staying? UK Material will be staying on there, all global material will be heading over to a NEW blog on the NEW site.
Whats happening to UK Shaved on Sunday? Was to be moved to UKShaved.net but that now has been scrapped, only cost us a pound anyway, we will probably use it for something else, but there will be an equivalent version with a different name probably the NEW site name with MAG or MAGAZINE on the end and will be in a magazine blog style format!
Whats the name of this NEW site? Ah that would be telling but here’s a couple of clues.
1. its one word. 2. it has 7 letters. We may secretly bury a link deep in the UK Shaved site somewhere for those who can’t stand the suspense.
Will this NEW site still be in the irritating style of UK Shaved? Yes and probably worse!
Will it have a similar classy style? Of course, probably classier and sexier and wetter. No tack on this one1
Will it still be FREE? Of Course!
Will it be the same annoying chaotic webmaster? Unfortunately YES!
Will it be a more interactive and dynamic website? Certainly!
Will all the global sites that are at UK Shaved be on this NEW site? Yes and more!
When is this all happening? In the next couple of weeks and thats a definite!
Have you put a NEW blog with the NEW sites name on the blogger account? No that would be too easy and not irritating enough
What happens in the meantime? Business as usual but probably not quite as many updates and UK Shaved on Sunday the next couple of weeks will be probably limited updates only with no news or spotlight features apart from whats the latest on this BIG MOVE.
